UX Solutions - Movenetix

Originally V1 of Movenetix was designed around dancers since Kize Bae, needed to find a way to accommodate her learning style. As we began our user research process, focusing primarily on dancers, we quickly realized the potential for the product to cater to a wider range of athletic disciplines. We decided to expand our interviews to include athletes from various sports and disciplines.

(User Interviews)

After conducting the user interviews, users expressed strong desire for

additional features that would enhance their learning and analysis when using the application. Through collaborative discussions from the results of the interviews, we decided to implement a mirror option, a side by side option, and an overlay option when users are in the practice mode page.

(V2 Side Tabs)

Additionally, we wanted to implement a new feature on the main page for users to quickly and easily grab videos either from their USBĀ or from the online. We developed a file grabber using HTML to access Youtube's database in order to transfer video files that users may want to pull and practice to.

To balance the weight of navigating files and or when in practice mode, the page layouts are anchored by a side tab that automatically indicates which screen users are on as well an easier way to navigate through the application from its previous V1 prototype.
